In what year did girls join the Benson Tech student body?

A vote of the student body in 1973 slightly favored admitting girls and a few did enroll in in the following year for the Class of 1977. Kathleen Dunn completed her requirements early and graduated with the Class of 1976.

When was the first Tech Show? 

May 16, 1919.

What was the school’s sports logo before the “Engineers”? 

Up until 1956, the teams were known as the “Mechanics.”
